Here are more pictures from the Big Texan. I did not take a whole bunch, because I realized that I was not enjoying what I was taking pictures of.

It was hard to take pictures in the restaurant because it is do dim.

There were three guys walking around singing.
One played the fiddle, one played the guitar, and the last one played a stand up bass.
They sang Blue Eyes Crying in the Rain for me.  I love that song.

After eating we went back to the hotel to sleep.  We did a lot and we were all tired.  After hiking all over the canyon and the time changes, we are all pretty tired.

But not tired enough to do a little tagging before we said farewell to Texas ...

I have always wanted to see Cadillac Ranch.

Tagging is permitted and encouraged ...

But littering is not ...
If you come to visit and put your mark on history,
then take everything with you when you leave.

There is a trash right outside the gate you came through ...

There was just too much garbage for us to pick up.  It was disgusting.
People are so rude sometimes.  If you bring it in, take it out!

We decided that since we were so close, we would pop down and see Roswell, New Mexico.

It is not as alien as you would think.  Sure, there is a UFO museum and some stores, but the diners and other places have all closed for the year or are just closed.  There is very little around the town that has anything to do with aliens.  That part was disappointing.  But we did see the museum ...

It's a Quilt ...

Annie put our pin in the map ...

We were even abducted ...

The aliens ...

Other things in the museum ...

UHAUL ???

Driving through New Mexico when it is dusk is amazing and so peaceful.  The beauty of it is something you should see with your own eyes.  It is a thing of true beauty.

With that, I will sign off for now.
We will be traveling through Albuquerque and Gallop,
New Mexico today with various stops along the way.
We are going to try and make it to Flagstaff, Arizona by this evening.

Remember that we all ...
