I had Indian Flat-bread for the first time today. AWESOME! It was so tasty!
We saw the Continental Divide, well not so much as saw it but there was a sign that told me it was there. It could have been lying for all I know. I still have not bought a blanket, which either shows serious self-control or that I have not found one that I like.
We were going to take a tram ride through the mountains, but for two weeks, twice a year, they close the tram for maintenance. Well, it happens to be closed until November 18th. That is just my luck. I cannot ride the one ride that will make me sweat bullets because it goes really high the air.
Learned that there is a person in California that makes Steampunk Hats that are by far the coolest hats I have ever seen. (And they should be for $350.)
So today was kind of a fizzle, but tomorrow we hit the Painted Desert and the Petrified Forest and if we have time we will see the Grand Canyon, if not then there is always the next day.
Here are some pictures of New Mexico ...
This is one of the statute in the hotel that we stayed in last night. He was kind of creepy ...
Marissa in the Steampunk Hat ...
Her shirt, by the way, says
"What Happens in Roswell Stays in Roswell Did Not Happen ... U.S. Army Order ..."
Annie is practicing her Say Cheese look ...
Me, irritating the kids by making them stand still and smile ...
Well, that is all for tonight.
