It is finally hitting me that we are moving.  I am not as sad as I think I should be though.  I know I will miss so many people, but I also know that it is not the last time I will see them.

My mother is my weather guide and is sending me updates throughout our travels.  The first one she sent said "Weather Report, Read It All and Don't Sigh At Me... "  LOL!  Too late.  Rolled my eyes too.

It is 4:10 a.m. (I thought it was 5 a.m., because that is what the alarm clock said on the nightstand.)

I also forgot that it was daylight savings time and that we needed to turn the clocks back an hour.

Daylight savings time when traveling is not and no matter how you look at it, it is not time travel either.  I may need a nap later...

As I was saying in the brief note last night, we made it to Joplin, MO and ate at Wilder's Restaurant.  We had not read up on it (mostly because we were not planning on stopping for the night in Joplin) and it was a little more expensive than our usual; hence the need for better research.  It was very good, but not what I wanted to spend.

Today we will be heading to Amarillo, TX.

There is a Totem Pole Park just outside Foyil, OK and a 66 foot tall soda bottle in Arcadia, OK that would be fun to see.  I am sure that there will be other stops along the way, but these are a few things in Okalahoma that I am willing to stop the van for.

Once I figure things out I will be giving a little snip of information on each attraction that we visit.

Stay tuned.

Love from all of us.

Jennifer
